Last night(10/24) my 2 ran into a Nova program about magnetism and it's importance to Earth, due to it's effects on climate, atmosphere and the affects of disruptions on it. So I have decided to do a little study on the affects and the Judgements listed in Revelation. A "strange" coincidence? Or more proof of G*D's Omniscience? See www.pbs.org, Magnetic Storm.
In Daniel 12:4, we are told that things were to be shut up until that day when men run to and fro and knowledge will be increased. Well, look around, people are rushing hither and yon, faster and faster. Knowledge is doubling within a years time! We are moving faster and faster, doing more and more, required to constantly study to tread water in our careers!
In chapter 6, we see the 6th Seal judgement, a great earthquake, the sun becoming black as sackcloth and the moon having an appearence of blood. The stars will drop out of the sky and the sky will roll up like a scroll and every mountain and island is moved out of place. Is this where we will see the "signs in the heavens"? Will the magnetic flip-flop and anomalies, which are already appearing, have dire effects on Earth?
Since the magnetic shield around the earth is produced in the inner core of semisolid iron, and since electricity and magnetism are closely related. It would follow that a change in the electrical currents that flow in the outter core, liquid nickel, may cause problems with communications, which would affect the smooth flow of fuel, food and other goods. This could be used as leverage to gain control over nations, if there are significant changes in the environment, volcanos, aruoras, climate, this could also lead to vast die offs of plants and animals. The degradation of the magnetic shield would lead to increased deaths due to cancer and possibly famines. A vast, worldwide earthquake could tip the instabilities into a faster reversal than thought possible. The research shows it could take only 10 days for a reversal of the poles. Leading to great instability of communications, satellites, GPS positioning, radios, television, and forget about your computer!

When was in high school (Mid 90's to late 90's) we were always told in order to get a good job you need to get high school diploma, now you need to graduate from College. IN my moms day, you didn't even need high school. Wars and Rumors of wars, earthquakes, people refusing to get married, drinking and become drunkards, are also all signs pointed to in the bible for the end times.
It's all over the Bible, and your right. I have a B.S., plus Masters level classes and I can't get a job in my education level, cause you really need a doctorate to be hired!
Just as in Noah's day...when iniquity and violence covered the Earth!
I am glad my hope isn't in this world and system!

I never graduated High School, something i wish i did, but back than i was so depressd and had so much anxiety about so many things, it's a long story, however in todays day and age, without a college education, and sometimes even with a college education, finding a career is becoming harder.
Have you considered the GED? then you can pick up college courses either online or start at a community college? There is no reason why a young man with your intelligence can't gain what he thought was lost! Jeremiah reminds us that G*D restores the years that the locusts have stolen, ask HIM.
Knowledge gainned for HIS Glory never goes to waste, or is never discounted by HIM!

You can take the CLEP exams and if you pass them you can be exempt for those courses and get college credit for them.
I have consider the GED thing, they would like me to do this long course, which i just have no desire to do, i would rather just take the test and be done with it. Right now i'm trying to get myself right with my Father, and go from there, 'one step at a time sweet Jesus'.
Or get the GED prep book at Barnes and Noble. Is there anything in particular that floats your boat as to what you would like to do?

I saw that about a year ago no A and E I think. It was interesting. They said the most dramatic effect would be about 100,000 more cases of cancer a year.

Since I was such a chick magnet before being married, did my wedding somehow fundamentally change the rotation of the earth? I was married in July 2003, so someone should research the before and after...

See that's the thing that's awesome about prophecy the Bible. The folks who were inspired by the Spirit to communicate those undying truths saw things through a mirror, darkly; they were given like the outline of things, but not entire illumination. Our knowledge of the physical gives us some illumination as well, without casting aspersion on the former. In other words, all things work together for good for them that believe.

now on to more degenerating business. i'm so with you on prophecy, having studied it for ten years and ongoing - at one time,it was so consuming i had to stop for a bit. sometimes a soul can know too much and it becomes overwhelming.
G-d has shown me through His word so many amazing events yet to take place. His word is becoming clearer and clearer with each moment as of late.
if you think about it - the prophets must have known people would think they were crazy - i know when G-d put the book of revelations on my heart when i was 14, although i read it then was quite sure this john was on drugs. i had no discernment. that comes with maturity and study of the Word.
i believe we are living in the end of days. i also believe there are more than we can count christians who will have an awakening - i always hesitate to use the word revival - revival is something we humans use to make ourselves feel better.
my assignment has not yet fully evolved, but i'm quite sure which direction it's taking me. too many goochers in the air lately. so many one may not get away from them. i've tried.
this world will NEVER be what man wants it to be until he accepts he needs a Saviour who will show him the Way. we want to lean on our own understanding believing we know what's best. we're usually in err 10 times out of 10.
we want our children to come to us when they're heavy laden so we can fix it - and then ignore our own Father when we're in a similar jam. guilty - me? you bet. it's not the falling down by which we're measured, but how we arise that matters.

Good rant! If you have anymore, post them. This will be the spot forsharing what I, and others have been shown! It's too big for one person and if G*D tells you to speak it, it's welcome!
G*D showed me I was a "watchman", even if no one pays attention, I must speak!
I found Rick Joyner's book, "The Final Quest" helped explain what was going on that I had trouble articulating. With that as a lever to my brain, I can describe what I have been shown. I need to find the sequel, but G*D has shown me my own particular area of responsibility and I must wait for HIM to show me how to say it!
As for being children, G*D should be our first choice, not our last resort!
May HIS Name be proclaimed and HIS Glory extolled, here in this place!
